INDOT to Discuss 'Refined' Option For I-69 Section 6
Indiana Department of Transportation officials will next month hold public meetings to update modifications made to the preferred path of the final section of the I-69 expansion. INDOT says the sessions in Martinsville, Indianapolis and Greenwood will cover a "refined preferred alternative" for Section 6 that has been reviewed by the Federal Highway Administration. The local meeting will take place at Martinsville High School on Tuesday, September 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Mike Dellinger, MCEDC executive director, encourages all interested parties to participate. "Morgan County has good relations with INDOT and state and local leaders continue to work to find solutions that will benefit everyone who will use or be affected by the interstate in the future. Let's keep that momentum by attending and commenting at the September 12th meeting in Martinsville."
